Miguel and Whitney were married at St. John’s Cathedral in Fresno. This was my first wedding of the new year and was also the first time I had an opportunity to shoot this beautiful church. After the ceremony the reception was held at “The Grand 1401” in downtown Fresno.

Aimee & Ryan were married at “The Grand 1401” in downtown Fresno. The ceremony was held upstairs on the balcony level, and the reception was held on the floor level. During the first dance, DJ Eric Hess brought out a new piece of equipment. It’s called “Dancing on a Cloud” and the effect covers the dance floor during the first dance.  It was fun to see this working for the first time.  Look for this at future weddings around town.

Crystal and Anthony have a very interesting story of how they met. As kids in high school they had dated a bit and knew each other.  After high school Anthony accepted an internship on the east coast and the two parted ways. Many years later Anthony returned to the Fresno area and was working hard at a new job. His friends suggested that he should start an account on match.com. Once Anthony signed up and filled out the questionnaires, they very first match the computer provided was his long ago friend Crystal. The two immediately made plans to see each other and now with newfound maturity could see they were right for each other.   On the 20th of October 2012 they were married at The Grand 1401 in Fresno! Cameron and Tiffanie were married on the 10th floor of “The Grand 1401”, Fresno’s best downtown wedding location. Built in 1922, the building has recently been fully remodeled, yet still retains the rich look of the original design.  The tall rounded ceiling and natural hardwood floors gives the 10th floor ball room a truly elegant feel.
